The Quilt is finished

Well the quilt is finished. The most difficult part of course was the design, or lack thereof.  My goal here was more in learning to sew the quilt and less in the design so  I guess I should have known when the fabric lady said, " oh, a wall hanging,"  that my "quilt" would turn out more or less worthless.  I did however learn a lot - used my walking foot, tried free motion quilting- sort of -I didn't lower the feed dogs, but did outline a few details freestyle.  Overall, fun and rewarding.  Although not one for the show...
